The New Forest Pig!
Well, it has been said quite recently by a Barbet breeder, of their wish to cross with another breed of dog, presumably to bring the 'better' traits of the other breed. How do you not get the worse traits?
I personally can't see any reason to do this what so ever.
Very labradoodle!!!!
The Barbet is an ancient breed, and at one point (excuse the pun) it was said to be a Pointer, which brings me to this lovely story of a Gamekeeper in the New Forest, he trained a PIG very successfully to do the job of the dogs.
Maybe they were thinking of increasing the natural pointing ability, therefore THE PIG should be the obvious choice. Enjoy the story in the link below, it starts on the page above the one displayed.
