The days have certainly been very busy here! Thank you first to all who have sent their best wishes for my Dad who was taken into hospital last weekend with Pneumonia. He is feeling a bit better today, and may be back home in the next few days. The puppies have been thriving, and several have now weighed in today, on day 10, at three times their birth weight, so to say I am pleased is an understatement. We have been getting enquiries from several countries, and I am happy to pass these on to others in my breed in other countries who have puppies now or very soon, but these home grown babies are all staying firmly put in the UK (for now)!
Nelly is being a great little Mum, though getting very hot, as are we. The heating has been going full blast since last Sunday, so it is nice to get out on short walks with the other dogs just to cool down a bit, I've been living in vest tops and shorts. It is snowing up North, but just very cold down here, but Spring is now here, and in a few weeks, the puppies will be able to delight in the joys of digging up my plants (again) in the garden, and getting out in arms and car for some socialisation.
