Of an evening, our barbets can often be seen around London as they accompany us on many of our evenings out. We do have to choose carefully where we go, as not everywhere is dog friendly, but most of the outdoor events around Canary Wharf we are able to go to. They had a briiliant Jazz Festival last week which Odo was happy to attend, at The Green in Canada Square, and yesterday evening he went along for an al fresco drink with us, and to see the yachts all lined up and waiting in St Katherine Docks. They are about to set sail for the longest yacht race around the world which will last for 11 months, and will be heading off next Sunday, I'll be watching them on the Thames as they pass by here. But the best boat in the docks last night were not the racing yachts, or the Gloriana, but the private yacht whose owners came over to make a big fuss of Odo. They knew he wasn't a Labradoodle, and had to find out what he was. They had on their yacht an Irish Water Spaniel and a poodle, so were very knowledgeable about Water Dogs. Odo sat guard over the Gloriana as we chatted.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gloriana_(barge)
