Today I have been preparing the diet and feeding sheets in readiness for when this little lot move on to their new homes.
Lots of advice out there suggests giving dental chews, I avoid any of the rawhide chews, and must admit to not buying dental chews either. A good old fashioned bone will keep teeth clean and gums healthy. It also gives a dog a good workout whilst gnawing on it, helping to develop strong neck muscles, and it is lovely to watch the pups develop their paw/eye co-ordination as they use their paws to manipulate the bone to an easier postion for them to chew on it.. Vegetarians need not look!
